Bristol Airport 17-01-15

The reason why so many enthusiasts

braved the snow.

Having helped push a car up the hill to the

photographer corner,

then waiting for runway and taxyways

cleared of snow we were eventually spoiled

by some nice aircraft.

My choices were.

Fokker 100 PH-MJP

feeling at home 

 Departed at 10.53 as

Denim Air 6121.

 Best colour scheme was this

Lear Jet 35A

departing at 11.29.

 Arriving late due to diverting to

Gatwick

Austrian A320 OE-LBK

It had arrived as the snow started

the runway was closed as it reached

the overhead.

It it only had 30 minutes holding fuel

so half an hour later it went to Gatwick

as the runway was still covered in snow.

 Jet 2 Boeing 737

Departing at 14.14.

 Second arrival after snow clearing was

Eazyjet A320

at 10.29.

KLM EMB190

PH-EZV

turning to back track

at 10.21.

This was the first flight movement

after an Stobart Air 

ATR 72 

which had landed as the snow

started at 08.00
