It was too hazy to get a decent photo

to the south so had to use the photo of 57008 and 57002

on the Bridgewater to Crewe

 59001 was in charge of the

Avonmouth to West Drayton stone train

from Portbury with 66017 as power.

What a difference a day makes!

With it pouring with rain

and two trains due to pass by,

I cycled down to F.A.W.

At 11.37 the Rugeley loaded coal had 70007

for power, running six minutes early.

 Running 2 hrs 32 mins early

this class 143 Pacer unit

was on the Cardiff to Bristol Barton Hill 

loco depot.

143609 passed by in very wet conditions

at 11.20.

The reason why so many enthusiasts

braved the snow.

Having helped push a car up the hill to the

photographer corner,

then waiting for runway and taxyways

cleared of snow we were eventually spoiled

by some nice aircraft.

My choices were.
