Another Engineers train. 11-09-16

the Cathays to Westbury Down
had

with an empty welded track train.

found 6201 Princess Elizabeth
sizzling away waitng for the
Paddington to Shrewsbury
to arrive.
 The train arrived at 10.58
with the same stock and locos
as last week.

A jump on to the 11.23 to Cardiff
I arrived back at a very packed Filton Abbey Wood.
So I decided on a different
angle to catch Lizzie.
As can be seen 6201
came storming through
FAW
and continued to accelerate
on the curve towards
Patchway and South Wales.
 Brilliant sound of it climbing
Filton bank.
 Later at 13.33
the convoy passed with just two up.

 Later still
three engineers trains from
Westbury to Yate passed.

stormed through on a long empty rake at
15.05.

sand filled wagons.
